Cyon Research Expands its US Team With Two New Analysts

Technology industry veterans to join consultancy

BETHESDA, MD April 20, 2006 -- Cyon Research Corporation, a leading provider of analysis and consulting for engineering technology markets, today announced the addition of two new senior analysts to its staff. Richard E. Morley (Dick) and Brian K. Seitz, two experienced engineering industry professionals, will join Cyon Research's select group of knowledgeable experts on business and technology.
A nationally recognized expert in the field of computer design, artificial intelligence, automation and an authority on the factory of the future, Dick Morley is an engineer, consultant, author, lecturer, and inventor; his inventions include the PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), now standing in the Smithsonian Institute. He holds more than twenty United States and foreign patents.

Morley is a member on the Board of Directors of various companies across the United States and has been in high technology since the beginning of solid-state electronics. Morley is currently Chairman of the Board of NCMS (National Center for Manufacturing Sciences). He has a track record of consistent success in the founding of high-technology companies for which he provides initial product concept and continuing technological presence.

Brian K. Seitz served as chief process manager and architect for IBM's marketing process and worked in a similar capacity for the Microsoft Corporation, as its Application Developers Customer Unit's (ADCU) worldwide engineering industry manager. His primary role was to develop and execute market strategy for the engineering segment and to serve as a liaison between Microsoft and the engineering community.
Seitz is currently Principal and Chief Knowledge Officer at Intellectual Arbitrage, a private research center, with clients from a select list of the Global 1000 specializing in the management and use of knowledge. He also offers his consultancy through his own firm, B. K. Seitz & Associates. Seitz is a columnist at Advance Manufacturing Magazine, serves on the SME/CASA Board of Advisors, National Research Council / NIST Board of Assessment, and advises management at STEP Tools Inc.
